I believe that education is the key to unlocking a world of opportunities. With 13 years of experience in the teaching field, I've had the privilege of nurturing young minds and helping students discover their full potential. My teaching philosophy is based on the idea that learning is a lifelong adventure. I firmly believe in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment where every student's unique talents and perspectives are valued. Throughout my career, I've worked in special education classrooms, general education classrooms, and Montessori classrooms. I have traveled to Austria to work within a program to promote peace and harmony with adults and children from varying countries. I have earned my associate's degree through Ivy Tech Community College in Education. I recently finished a two-year self-directed practicum through Seton Montessori Institute and earned my American Montessori Society certificate. These experiences have shaped my teaching style and fueled my commitment to providing the best possible education to my students. When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me spending time with my two boys, playing trivia with my mom and sister, shopping at local small businesses, traveling to new places, and learning new recipes. These passions keep me energized and creative, providing a well-rounded perspective that benefits my teaching. I look forward to embarking on this educational journey with your children.
